Alanya University Shared Its Project Experiences with Youth at the Antalya ErasmusDays Festival
The Antalya ErasmusDays Festival, which serves as a bridge for young people to discover international projects and encounter different cultures, was held with an enthusiastic ceremony on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Antalya Millet Bahçesi (Nation's Garden). Acting with a vision of internationalization, Alanya University also took part in this significant event with an insightful presentation and attracted great interest from the participants.
Held under the auspices of the Antalya Governorate and in cooperation with the European Union and Foreign Relations Office and the Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, the festival opened with the participation of the provincial protocol and over a thousand attendees. Offering a true feast of culture and entertainment to the people of Antalya, the event created an important platform for young people to get acquainted with global educational opportunities.
A Rich Cultural and Artistic Program Within the scope of the diverse festival program, participants enjoyed an abundance of art through guitar and bağlama performances, international folklore shows, a Turkish Folk Music choir, and pop music concerts. Dynamic shows appealing to all ages, such as award-winning sports competitions, children's olympics, drama and wooden games, and water ballet, were also highly appreciated at the event.
A Guiding Presentation for Youth from Alanya University At the festival, which focused on international educational opportunities alongside cultural interaction, Alanya University—playing an active role in Erasmus+ and European Union projects—shared its experiences with young people. While various institutions and organizations introduced their projects in the main festival area, Alanya University officials held a special session in the Youth Center meeting hall.
In this presentation, where successful project examples and process management were shared with prospective candidates, the university detailed the international projects it has implemented so far, the cross-border exchange opportunities it offers to students, and its global educational vision. The presentation, during which all questions from the youth regarding the process of taking part in international projects were sincerely answered, was followed with great interest by the participants and future university candidates.
