Yes, our university generally offers support programs and consultancy services for international students. Support is provided for problems that students may encounter during the education process.
- Is the language of instruction Turkish or English and is the student proficient in these languages?
The language of instruction at our university is 100% English for English programs and 100% Turkish for Turkish programs.
For those who do not have English language proficiency, a one-year "English Preparatory Program" is applied. The preparatory class is not included in the normal education period.
Turkish Proficiency: For students enrolled in programs where the language of instruction is Turkish to start their education in the department, they must have a Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by the official institutions and organizations of the State of the Republic of Turkey and universities or by Alanya University (TÖMER). Students who do not have a certificate are allowed for one year to obtain their Turkish Proficiency Certificate. The student who does not submit the document at the end of this period will be dismissed from the University.

The purpose of the Summer School is:
a) To ensure that university students benefit from educational opportunities during the summer months,
b) To improve the teaching staff in associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs by employing faculty members from outside the University and to ensure that students benefit from the opinions and experiences of different faculty members,
c) To provide time for students enrolled in minor and double major programs to follow these programs,
d) To provide opportunities for unsuccessful students and to increase efficiency by preventing student overcrowding that may occur in departments by offering the courses that students took in the normal period but failed or could not take in the summer months.
- Is there an English Preparatory program?
Yes. There is an English Preparatory Program for programs whose medium of instruction is English.
- Is there a course before the English Proficiency Exam? Can we get information about the content of this exam?
Yes, there is. You can improve your English level by enrolling in the Preparatory Course organized by Alanya University TÖMER. The program is a preparatory jump course program for all university preparatory students (including new registrations). Throughout the program, exam strategies and grammar and vocabulary studies will be carried out for English 4 skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) courses.
The English Proficiency Exam administered at our university consists of five parts: listening, reading, grammar, writing, and speaking.

Application conditions for the Erasmus+ Program:

- Can I participate in Erasmus Mobility more than once?
A student will be able to benefit from the Erasmus Learning and Internship Mobility Program with a grant of 12 months at each level of his/her education life (associate degree/bachelor's degree, master's degree, and doctorate), for a maximum of 36 months in total.
- What hours is the library open?
Our library is open between 08:30-17:30 on weekdays and is open for our students between 08:30-00:00 during final and project periods.
- Do you help graduating students find jobs?

- Is it necessary to apply for a student residence permit after entering Turkey with a visa?
Yes. After international students complete their student registration at Alanya University, they must fill out the 'Residence Permit Application Form' online at https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/ and start the Residence Permit application process. Without waiting for the appointment date given in the system, the Residence Permit Application Form and the necessary documents specified on this form must be delivered to the Alanya University International Relations Unit, not to the Alanya Immigration Management Directorate.
The documents submitted by the students to the International Relations Unit will be forwarded to the Alanya Directorate of Immigration Management at regular intervals. You can contact the International Relations Office for detailed information.
