Alanya University Becomes the First Turkish University to Join the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry

In line with its internationalization goals, Alanya University has signed a significant collaboration. By signing a protocol with the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TD-IHK), the university became the first Turkish university to become a member of the chamber.

Headquartered in Berlin, TD-IHK plays an active role in developing trade and investment relations between Turkey and Germany. This membership of Alanya University is considered a strategic step toward establishing a stronger bond between academia and the international business world.

Within the scope of the membership, the aim is to increase contact with the Turkish-German business community, develop joint projects, and expand mutual cooperation opportunities. Additionally, there are plans to increase internship and employment opportunities for students and to integrate academic studies with international industrial networks.

In a statement regarding the development, Alanya University Rector Prof. Dr. Turan Sağer noted that the TD-IHK membership strengthens the university's international vision, stating: “We are highly pleased to be the first Turkish university to become a member of the Turkish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This step supports our university's goal of becoming an active player on a global scale. Through the collaborations to be carried out with Germany, we aim to offer new opportunities to our students and academics.”

By diversifying its international collaborations, Alanya University aims to continue its efforts to strengthen academia-industry integration.
